Reed bed at Anton Crescent Wetland

The last few months have seen volunteers completing tasks which have contributed to achieving targets associated with the meadows elements of Sutton’s Higher Level Stewardship scheme. With the coming of autumn attention turns to scrub, tree and pond work.

The habitat management work that SNCV volunteers undertake, along with the other support work, is invaluable for helping enhance and raise awareness of Sutton’s nature sites and is greatly appreciated by Sutton’s Biodiversity Team.

If you are interested in “Helping Nature on Sutton’s Doorstep” then please do get in touch sncvvolunteers@hotmail.co.uk.

Why not come along to SNCV’s AGM on Wednesday 5th November at 7:30pm at the Old Rectory, Festival Walk, Carshalton and find out more about getting involved.
